Speak Steady is designed to be a gentle, supportive voice and breathing program for people living with Parkinson’s. All exercises are intended to be performed within a comfortable, effort-free range, without strain or force.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Work at your own pace and rest as needed
  • Discontinue any exercise that causes discomfort, dizziness, or strain
  • Voice exercises should feel supported and steady, not pushed or forced
  • Breathing practices are gentle and should never feel breath-holding or stressful

Care partners are encouraged to participate as supportive observers when helpful.
