If your voice has become softer, less clear, or more tiring, you are not alone.
Voice and communication changes are one of the most common, and most frustrating, symptoms of Parkinson’s. Many people notice they’re harder to hear, run out of breath mid-sentence, or avoid speaking altogether.
Speak Steady was created to change that.
Developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and certified Yoga Teacher, Speak Steady combines clinical speech therapy principles with gentle breath-based practices to support voice strength, loudness, and clarity, without strain or overwhelm. Designed for safe, guided, at-home use, Speak Steady supports daily carryover and gives immediate results that fall short in traditional voice therapy.

Why I Developed Speak Steady
Communication is life. When the voice weakens, connection, confidence, and independence are often the first things people lose.
For over two decades, I’ve worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in Parkinson’s disease, and I’ve consistently heard the same message from patients and care partners: the greatest impact on quality of life comes from losing the ability to communicate clearly and be understood.
I also saw a recurring clinical gap. Traditional voice therapy can improve performance in sessions, but carryover into daily communication is often limited. Patients are told to “speak louder,” yet loudness doesn’t hold unless the nervous system is trained to support speech under real-world conditions.
That understanding reshaped my work. I began integrating evidence-based movement, motor learning, and neuroplasticity principles with speech and breath training. When breath, voice, posture, and functional movement are trained together, communication becomes stronger, more automatic, and sustainable.
This is why I created Speak Steady, a movement-integrated, clinically grounded communication system designed to improve vocal loudness, speech intelligibility, and confidence where it matters most: in everyday life.
My work is driven by a simple belief: restoring communication restores presence, identity, and connection.
Are you with me?
